दैवी ह्येषा गुणमयी मम माया दुरत्यया | मामेव ये प्रपद्यन्ते मायामेतां तरन्ति ते ||१४||

Translation
This divine maya of Mine, consisting of the three gunas, is difficult to overcome. But those who surrender unto Me alone cross beyond this maya.
Commentary
One of the most important verses in the Gita on the nature of maya and the means to transcend it. Maya is called 'divine' (daivi) because it belongs to God and serves His purpose. The sole remedy prescribed is surrender (prapadyante) - not intellectual effort alone. This verse is foundational for the bhakti tradition.
