गामाविश्य च भूतानि धारयाम्यहमोजसा | पुष्णामि चौषधीः सर्वाः सोमो भूत्वा रसात्मकः ||१३||

Translation
Entering the earth, I sustain all beings with My energy. Becoming the watery moon (Soma), I nourish all plants.
Commentary
Shankaracharya explains that the Lord sustains the earth through His power of support (dhāraṇa-śakti), preventing it from disintegrating. As Soma (the moon), He provides the rasa (vital juice) that nourishes all vegetation. Ramanuja sees this as demonstrating God's role as the inner controller (antaryāmin) who sustains creation from within. The verse establishes Krishna's immanence in the natural order.
