भवाप्ययौ हि भूतानां श्रुतौ विस्तरशो मया | त्वत्तः कमलपत्राक्ष माहात्म्यमपि चाव्ययम् ||२||

Transliteration (IAST)

bhavāpyayau hi bhūtānāṁ śrutau vistaraśo mayā | tvattaḥ kamala-patrākṣa māhātmyam api cāvyayam ||2||

Translation

The origin and dissolution of beings have been heard by me in detail from You, O lotus-eyed one, and also Your imperishable greatness.

Commentary

Arjuna summarizes what he has learned: the creation and destruction of all beings proceed from Krishna, whose glory is inexhaustible. Ramanuja interprets 'avyayam māhātmyam' as the eternal, unchanging divine sovereignty that persists through all cosmic cycles.
