बहूनाम्-many

अन्ते-at the end
ज्ञानवान्-one with wisdom
वासुदेवः सर्वम्-Vasudeva is everything
महात्मा-great soul
सुदुर्लभः-very rare

Translation

At the end of many births, the man of wisdom surrenders unto Me, realizing that Vasudeva is all. Such a great soul is very rare.

Commentary

The declaration 'Vasudevah sarvam' (Vasudeva is everything) is one of the Gita's most celebrated mahavakyas. It represents the culmination of spiritual evolution across many lifetimes. Shankaracharya identifies this as the highest realization - seeing God in all and all in God. The rarity (sudurlabhah) echoes verse 7.3.
