Verse 6.31

Speaker: Krishna

सर्वभूतस्थितं यो मां भजत्येकत्वमास्थितः। सर्वथा वर्तमानोऽपि स योगी मयि वर्तते॥

Transliteration (IAST)

sarva-bhūta-sthitaṁ yo māṁ bhajaty ekatvam āsthitaḥ sarvathā vartamāno 'pi sa yogī mayi vartate

Word-by-Word Meanings

sarva-bhūta-sthitam-situated in all beings
mām-Me
bhajati-worships
ekatvam-in oneness
āsthitaḥ-established
sarvathā vartamānaḥ-in all circumstances
mayi vartate-abides in Me

Translation

The yogi who, established in oneness, worships Me dwelling in all beings - that yogi abides in Me, regardless of their external circumstances.

Commentary

Krishna declares that one who worships Him as present in all beings, established in the vision of unity (ekatva), lives in God regardless of external conditions. This liberates spiritual life from dependence on circumstances - the yogi's inner state transcends outer situations.
