na cirāt-without delay
āveśita-cetasām-whose minds are fixed on Me

Translation

For those whose minds are fixed on Me, O Partha, I become the swift deliverer from the ocean of birth and death.

Commentary

Krishna makes a personal promise of liberation - He Himself becomes the savior. Madhva emphasizes that 'na cirāt' (without delay) distinguishes bhakti from the gradual path of jñāna. The metaphor of saṁsāra as an ocean (sāgara) and God as the rescuer is central to Vaishnava theology across all schools.
