अर्जुन उवाच | परं ब्रह्म परं धाम पवित्रं परमं भवान् | पुरुषं शाश्वतं दिव्यमादिदेवमजं विभुम् ||१२||

arjuna uvāca | paraṁ brahma paraṁ dhāma pavitraṁ paramaṁ bhavān | puruṣaṁ śāśvataṁ divyam ādi-devam ajaṁ vibhum ||12||

Translation

Arjuna said: You are the Supreme Brahman, the supreme abode, the supreme purifier, the eternal divine Person, the original God, unborn and all-pervading.

Commentary

Arjuna responds with a powerful declaration of faith. His words echo the testimony of great sages and confirm his direct realization. The accumulation of superlatives (param, śāśvatam, divyam) reflects Arjuna's overwhelming recognition of Krishna's supreme nature.
