ज्ञानं तेऽहं सविज्ञानमिदं वक्ष्याम्यशेषतः | यज्ज्ञात्वा नेह भूयोऽन्यज्ज्ञातव्यमवशिष्यते ||२||

jñānaṁ te'haṁ savijñānamidaṁ vakṣyāmyaśeṣataḥ | yajjñātvā neha bhūyo'nyajjñātavyamavaśiṣyate ||2||

Translation

I shall declare to you in full this knowledge combined with realization, knowing which nothing further remains to be known in this world.

Commentary

The distinction between jnana (theoretical knowledge) and vijnana (experiential realization) is central to this chapter's title. Ramanuja explains that jnana is knowledge of God's nature, while vijnana is direct experience of that nature. Together they constitute complete wisdom.
