प्राप्य पुण्यकृतां लोकानुषित्वा शाश्वतीः समाः। शुचीनां श्रीमतां गेहे योगभ्रष्टोऽभिजायते॥

Transliteration (IAST)

prāpya puṇya-kṛtāṁ lokān uṣitvā śāśvatīḥ samāḥ śucīnāṁ śrīmatāṁ gehe yoga-bhraṣṭo 'bhijāyate

Translation

The unsuccessful yogi, after enjoying the higher planets of the righteous for many years, takes birth in the home of the pure and prosperous.

Commentary

Krishna describes the first possible outcome for the yoga-bhraṣṭa: enjoyment in higher realms followed by rebirth in a virtuous, wealthy family. This provides both the material comfort and ethical environment conducive to resuming spiritual practice.
