नेहाभिक्रमनाशोऽस्ति प्रत्यवायो न विद्यते। स्वल्पमप्यस्य धर्मस्य त्रायते महतो भयात्॥

Transliteration (IAST)

nehābhikrama-nāśo 'sti pratyavāyo na vidyate svalpam apy asya dharmasya trāyate mahato bhayāt

Word-by-Word Meanings

abhikrama-nāśaḥ-loss of effort
pratyavāyaḥ-adverse result
svalpam-a little
dharmasya-of this practice
mahataḥ bhayāt-from great fear

Translation

In this path there is no loss of effort, nor is there any adverse result. Even a little practice of this dharma protects one from great fear.

Commentary

Krishna encourages Arjuna by stating that yoga practice is never wasted. Unlike worldly endeavors where incomplete efforts may yield nothing, even the smallest spiritual effort accumulates and protects. This addresses the fear of failure that might prevent one from beginning the spiritual path.
