व्यासप्रसादाच्छ्रुतवानेतद्गुह्यमहं परम् | योगं योगेश्वरात्कृष्णात्साक्षात्कथयतः स्वयम् ||७५||

vyāsa-prasādāc chrutavān etad guhyam ahaṁ param | yogaṁ yogeśvarāt kṛṣṇāt sākṣāt kathayataḥ svayam ||75||

Translation

By the grace of Vyasa, I have heard this supreme and most secret yoga directly from Krishna, the Lord of Yoga, as He Himself declared it.

Commentary

Sanjaya acknowledges the chain of grace that enabled him to witness the teaching. Shankaracharya explains that Vyasa granted Sanjaya divine sight (divya-drishti) to perceive events on the battlefield. Ramanuja notes the title 'Yogeśvara' (Lord of Yoga) - Krishna is not merely a teacher of yoga but its supreme master and source.
