Commentary
Krishna concludes His teaching by asking whether it has achieved its purpose. Shankaracharya notes the tenderness in this question - the teacher checking if the student has truly understood. The reference to 'ajñāna-sammoha' (delusion of ignorance) connects back to Arjuna's original confusion in Chapter 1. Ramanuja sees this as Krishna's final act of grace - ensuring the teaching has taken root.
