yoga-sevayā-by practice of yoga
ātmani tuṣyati-is satisfied in the Self

Translation

Where the mind, restrained by the practice of yoga, ceases its movements; where, seeing the Self by the self, one is satisfied in the Self alone -

Commentary

This begins a four-verse description (6.20-23) of the state of samādhi. The mind's cessation (uparama) through yoga practice leads to direct self-perception (ātmanā ātmānaṁ paśyan). This echoes Patanjali's yogaś citta-vṛtti-nirodhaḥ.
