Commentary

The concluding verse of Chapter 5 reveals the personal dimension of the Divine. Krishna declares Himself as the ultimate recipient of all worship, the sovereign of all realms, and the benevolent friend of every creature. This threefold knowledge - God as enjoyer, ruler, and friend - brings supreme peace and integrates jñāna with bhakti.
