ātma-vaśyaiḥ-under self-control
prasādam-grace/serenity

Translation

But one who moves among sense objects with senses free from attachment and aversion, under self-control, attains serenity of mind.

Commentary

After describing the chain of destruction, Krishna presents the alternative: engaging with the world through controlled senses free from attachment and aversion. The key insight is that the problem is not sense objects themselves but our reactive relationship to them. Freedom comes not from withdrawal but from mastery.
