viśvam-universal
anantam-infinite
ādyam-primeval

Translation

The Supreme Lord said: By My grace, O Arjuna, this supreme form has been shown to you through My own yoga power - radiant, universal, infinite, and primeval - which no one other than you has ever seen before.

Commentary

Krishna confirms the unprecedented nature of this revelation. It was shown through divine grace (prasanna) and divine power (ātma-yoga), not through any human effort. Ramanuja emphasizes that 'tvad-anyena na dṛṣṭa-pūrvam' establishes Arjuna's unique privilege - even great sages and gods have not witnessed this complete cosmic form.
