भूतानि-beings
न कश्चन-no one

Translation

I know all beings of the past, present, and future, O Arjuna, but no one knows Me.

Commentary

Divine omniscience is contrasted with the limited knowledge of created beings. God knows all across time, yet remains unknowable through ordinary means. This asymmetry of knowledge underscores the need for divine grace - God must choose to reveal Himself, as stated in verse 7.25.
