Word-by-Word Meanings

बुद्धिभेदम्-confusion of intellect
अज्ञानाम्-of the ignorant
कर्मसङ्गिनाम्-attached to action
जोषयेत्-should inspire
विद्वान्-the wise
युक्तः-engaged

Translation

The wise should not unsettle the minds of the ignorant who are attached to action. Rather, performing all actions with devotion, the wise should inspire others to do the same.

Commentary

Krishna advises against disrupting the faith of those not ready for higher knowledge. The wise should lead by example rather than confusing others with abstract philosophy. This shows Krishna's practical wisdom - spiritual teaching must be appropriate to the student's level.
