यज्ञशिष्टाशिनः सन्तो मुच्यन्ते सर्वकिल्बिषैः। भुञ्जते ते त्वघं पापा ये पचन्त्यात्मकारणात्।।
Transliteration (IAST)
yajña-śiṣṭāśinaḥ santo mucyante sarva-kilbiṣaiḥ | bhuñjate te tv aghaṁ pāpā ye pacanty ātma-kāraṇāt ||

Translation
The righteous who eat the remnants of sacrifice are freed from all sins. But those sinful ones who cook food only for themselves verily eat sin.
Commentary
This verse extends the principle of yajna to daily life. Even eating becomes sacred when one first offers and shares. Those who live only for self-gratification accumulate negative karma. The verse promotes a life of sharing and gratitude over selfish consumption.
