यततो ह्यपि कौन्तेय पुरुषस्य विपश्चितः। इन्द्रियाणि प्रमाथीनि हरन्ति प्रसभं मनः॥

yatato hy api kaunteya puruṣasya vipaścitaḥ indriyāṇi pramāthīni haranti prasabhaṁ manaḥ

Translation
The turbulent senses, O son of Kunti, forcibly carry away the mind of even a discerning person who strives for self-control.
Commentary
Krishna acknowledges the difficulty of sense control with remarkable honesty. Even wise and disciplined seekers can be overwhelmed by the power of the senses. This is not discouragement but realistic assessment - it prepares Arjuna for the sustained effort required and prevents complacency.
