य इमं परमं गुह्यं मद्भक्तेष्वभिधास्यति | भक्तिं मयि परां कृत्वा मामेवैष्यत्यसंशयः ||६८||

Transliteration (IAST)

ya imaṁ paramaṁ guhyaṁ mad-bhakteṣv abhidhāsyati | bhaktiṁ mayi parāṁ kṛtvā mām evaiṣyaty asaṁśayaḥ ||68||

Translation

He who teaches this supreme secret to My devotees, performing the highest devotion to Me, shall undoubtedly come to Me.

Commentary

Krishna declares the merit of sharing this teaching with qualified recipients. Shankaracharya explains that teaching the Gita to devotees is itself the highest form of worship. Ramanuja notes that 'abhidhāsyati' (will teach) implies not mere recitation but genuine transmission with understanding. Madhva emphasizes that sharing divine knowledge is the greatest service one can render to God.
