Translation
Arjuna said: It is fitting, O Hrishikesha, that the world rejoices and is filled with love by glorifying You. The demons flee in fear to all directions, and all the hosts of perfected beings bow to You.
Commentary
Arjuna begins his hymn of praise. He acknowledges that the world's devotion to Krishna is entirely appropriate given what he has witnessed. Ramanuja notes the contrast between the righteous who rejoice and the demons who flee - the cosmic form simultaneously attracts the good and repels evil.
