आढ्योऽभिजनवानस्मि कोऽन्योऽस्ति सदृशो मया | यक्ष्ये दास्यामि मोदिष्य इत्यज्ञानविमोहिताः ||१५||

Translation
I am wealthy and of noble birth. Who else is equal to me? I shall perform sacrifices, I shall give charity, I shall rejoice - thus deluded by ignorance.
Commentary
Shankaracharya explains that even the religious acts mentioned here (yakṣye, dāsyāmi) are performed from vanity rather than devotion, making them spiritually worthless. Ramanuja notes that the demoniac person's charity and sacrifice are motivated by pride and desire for recognition, not by dharma or devotion to God. The phrase ajñāna-vimohitāḥ summarizes their fundamental condition.
